Built on the 25,410-square-foot waterfront site in 1924, the home has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a pool and a dock. Niklas de la Motte, the co-founder and chairman of product marketing firm Replogic, bought the 8,521-square-foot home at 4736 N. Bay Road. The price equates to $1,174 per square foot on which the late Sir Edward Porter, who founded a fashion school, was sold for $10 million. Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty represented the seller in the deal.
Porter was knighted by the Vatican in 1969 for his contribution to education and died in March 2017 at age 96. He and his wife, the late Lady Anna Lee Porter, founded Miami’s International Fine Arts College, which is now the Miami International University of Art & Design.
